In 2023, the Nieuwe Instituut acquired part of the office archive of the architectural firm Jo Coenen and Co. This year, the acquisition of Coenen’s private archive—located on a floor of his home in Maastricht—has begun with the process of appraisal and selection. The space is a hybrid of a study, documentation/archive room, library, home office, and meeting area.
